I need to thank you i lost my wife of 45 years to cancer 2 years ago and was down and out i had talked to you after a Black Flag show in Omaha and started reading your post and watching your videos you lit a fire in me I had aways been a walker I saw you video about the Ruck Pack and had to get one and a pair of Ruck shoes I am 69 Rucking every day after work and on weekends living in the moment it is the best therapy I can think of i am going to be subscribing to you site so keep writing and inspiring thank you again much love ❤️
I love your words man. I have been a fan of yours for a very long time going back to the early days. Really enjoyed your series Drive as well when it first came out. Watched it again recently thanks to you for posting on youtube! Your approach to life is truly inspiring, choosing to create your own path and not focusing on fitting into a certain mold or group. Just living the best life possible and I couldn't agree more. I am also looking forward to beginning my Rucking journey very soon, thanks to you. I wish you the best in all your endeavors!
You can’t read this and not feel it in your bones. It’s a long form narration of the soul. We could spend our entire lives looking in the mirror and only see a mask, never knowing who we truly are. Perpetually missing that “appointment with ourselves”. Thanks for sharing. Loved reading it.
Oh NICE! PRO TRAVEL TIP on the 30 pound Achilles vest. I used to get away with a 30 lb. plate carried on, and learned you could do it in Terminal B in Orlando but not Terminal A. The unwinnable Terminal A conversation revolved around a 30 lb. roller bag being just as much a “weapon” as that plate. Then at some point no terminal. So now I know.
Love this Mike! Seems like the ideal next step and perfect situation for this next season! I’m a proud Go Ruck owner for travel and events but need to get into more of the lifestyle. Hope to learn more and follow your example!
