Continuing to love the stories you share on here. Great info on your switch from Powell to world and your vision going forward. Also HELL YEAH the Rats are back! I’ll definitley be at the Chicago or StLouis show. See you there!
We went a lot when we lived in San Diego, and also "Sweet Tomatoes" when we moved to Vegas (same chain, just a different name outside of California.) Unfortunately, they started going downhill for a few years preceding the pandemic, and the lockdowns were the final nail in the coffin. There's hardly any buffets left in Vegas anymore, and none of them are really any good.
So much was happening—and it was time where someone like myself could get lost in the shuffle. I had to set myself apart from everything, even if it was scary—the unknown. It was the only way it would mean anything to me anyway.

So Cool! I look forward to saying hello at a show. I'll be sharing more info about The Rats on the Audio Companion. Thanks!
"Leaving the orchestra...blowing solo." Great analogy! Also, the picture of you and Ann really makes me miss Souplantation! Loved that place! 😄
We'd go there all the time, especially when we first started dating.

Yep, it went downhill through the years for sure. Now, I wouldn't go to a free buffet, well, a breakfast buffet—I'm still in. Otherwise, nah.
